ROBINS MAGICAL BIRTHDAY WISH
What a delightful surprise to have my own SuzyQT daughter born on my own birth day.
Introducing Phlox! Finally, my very own SuzyQT "kid". Our Suzy is a particular treasure in our family. Suzy is daughter to our Ally, Robins Magical Ring , sired by Rider, Champion Robins One Hot Knight. The Ally x Rider breeding was a beautiful, well proven, and an amazing cross. Suzy is the one that we kept.
Suzy has only had four litters, and very few pups with in each litter. Each time, her pups were quickly scooped up by family members and close friends. They each had a devine destination, seemingly before they were born.
Suzy's first litter by Sunny, was of two pups. The red tri girl,"Autumn" was born to be with Lindsey, so I stepped aside as that partnership was meant to be, right from birth.

Suzy's second litter by Sunny, was of three pups. Without a moments thought, the red tri girl became my son's. Moxie was meant for him, and he for her. The black tri girl, quickly merged with my sister and family. Noushka had chosen her place in life. The blue merle boy, Hurley had already been reserved by good friends prior to his birth.

Suzy was then bred to Flint resulting in four pups. The red tri girl again, had been reserved by Hurleys family, before birth. (How did they know Suzy would again have one red tri girl in her small litters...)
The litter included the incredible Theo, the first yellow/gold pup born to us. Had we not been in the middle of a major move and relocation, we would have kept the black tri girl, Dyna and her stunning blue merle male Shadow. Shadow was so close to my other son's soul, it was very difficult to let Shadow leave us as he just had that same feeling that Rider had as a pup...to be with this particular son. Shadow continues a great life at WESTSTONE Aussies, enjoying and enriching family life there-along with several other aussies of mine that are now at WESTSTONE. Shadow contributes to the excellence of the breed through his wonderful offspring

It was three years until Suzy was bred again. For her final litter, I repeated the breeding to Flint. This cross line-breeds on Ally (Beau x Dots) who is Suzy's mom, to Gunner (Beau x Dots) who is Flints grandsire.It also line-breeds on Trucker (Bobby Rosie) who is both Flints sire and Suzy's grandsire. The outcross is the old Timberwoods line (Riders mom) and our other line of Missy (Mandy x Dylan), Flints grandmom.
Suzy, Robins Magic of The Knight, choose to have her pups, on my own birth day. February 17th.
We sat by Suzy's side night and day through her three days of casual* (*typical Suzy) but attention-demanding, lengthy pre-labour.
How magical that she waited til my birthday?!
Also magical, she again had one red tri girl..born this time with MY name on her!
Somehow, this Suzy daughter to call my own, makes me feel a part of my own family.
Suzy's two blue boys, are the imagine of Flint. How perfect is that?
This red girl wears her familiar family pedigree upfront. Her softness and wiggles, body posture and how she lays to rest, are SO Suzy. While she carries a Rider type coat, her markings are identical to Suzy.
She has the body type of her grandpa Rider. Her front legs are just like Rider and his dad Trucker. Phlox has her grandsire's amazing sidegait: wow can this girl move, effortlessly. She is clean coming and going, and is very pleasing to watch as she moves anywhere, and any which way.
Phlox has that Dots mentality: born an adult, no puppy about this brain, mentality and thought processing. And her eyes...knowing beyond years.
She is a Flint, and Rider, Suzy and...well...all of her family behind her, rising to the front depending on her moment or activity, or resting time.
Once again, another treasued Suzy 'kid' in our family. I am pleased to have one of my own.
While she has only had a very few pups in her lifetime, she has truly given of herself.
Suzy is 'retired' now.
